Jeffy the Elf

and the Great Snow Caper

Jeffy the Elf worked in Santa's toy shop

He made toys for the kids who were listed on top

But Jeffy was bored with his daily routine

He wanted some fun and excitement extreme!

One day he found Santa's magical snow

Hidden in a secret place that only that old elf would know

He took a small pinch and felt a warm glow

He laughed and he danced so fast and not slow!

He shared it with Doug, his elven best friend

Forgetting their work till their shift came to an end

They played and they pranked and they made a huge mess

No care for their duties or their hard pounding chests!

But Santa found out, and they would pay for their debt

He was angry and sad and very upset

Said they had wasted his precious magical snow

Christmas'd be quick but Santa'd be slow

Santa fired poor Jeffy right there on the spot

He told him to leave o'er the chaos that he'd wrought

He said that Jeffy must leave to find his own way

In the big world outside, so full of dismay

Jeffy, so scared and so very alone

Wandered to diff'rent jobs - even selling cell phones

He worked as a wrestler, a dancer, a barber

A farmer and plumber, with his happiness farther

The elf missed magic snow and all of its joy

Twas a lightbulb above his head as he shouted, "Oh boy!"

So he decided to import and sell his OWN snow

In the big city where he could make lots of  dough

He found a supplier who had the best snow

He bought it in bulk and bagged it to go

Jeffy made a fortune and lived life just so glad

He had parties and fun and he never felt sad

Jeffy forgot about Santa, his dumb old workshop

He forgot about his list from bottom to top

He didn't care about Christmas or the girls and the boys

Because his new life was full of pleasures and joys

The End
